A Walk in The Clouds

A Walk in The Clouds
On the other end we walked immersed in amiable banter, watching a glorious day unfold. The clouds gathered the town below in their soft embrace, the sky turned a rich and luxurious blue, a cool breeze sprang up over the water and ruffled our hair while the sun softly kissed our cheeks. We stood rooted to the spot, awestruck. Nature was having a field day with her elements.

She’s Got The Look

She's Got The Look
Standing alone, like a prima donna, she ignores the world around. Surrounded by the shining baubles of a superficial world she is nonchalant, confident of her infinite charm and easy allure. A stylish icon for the digital age and a madonna of the future, she’s got the look!

Heidelberg

Heidelberg
This had been sitting in my folder of photos from Heidelberg for a long time as I was not satisfied with the results I had obtained. But today I finally managed to come up with something a little more to my liking. However, I still find the photo to be a little too ‘busy’ in terms of subject matter if you see what I mean. I’m a minimalist at heart and therefore I guess I find the scene to be too chaotic!

As for the photo, it is a part of Heidelberg as seen from the Philosopher’s Walk on the other side of the town, across the river Neckar.

Yen Yen

Yen Yen
So in the end Germany’s dream came to an end in the semis at the World Cup. But they did play such exciting football and managed to convert a football-sceptic like me into something of a fan! Hope they will build on what they achieved so far.

Coming to today’s photo, nothing much to say here except that the high key look was a result of processing.

Deutschland…Deutschland!

Deutschland...Deutschland!
This was actually shot last week right after Germany pulled off that amazing victory over favorites Argentina in the quarterfinals of the World Cup. But with Germany set to take on Italy in a few hours I think it is appropriate to post it now. Viel gluck Deutschland…wir fahren nach Berlin!

Luis The IV

Luis The IV
As the title (playfully) suggests this is the fourth photo of Luis that I’m posting on this photolog. You can see his earlier photos [here](http://visual.arthedains.com/index.php?showimage=166), [here](http://visual.arthedains.com/index.php?showimage=165) and my favorite of the three, [here](http://visual.arthedains.com/index.php?showimage=163). Although the high key look was not intentional I enhanced it while processing as imo it gives a very contemporary feel to the photo.
