Goddess

Silence is golden, literally.

The river flows gently, more water under the bridge. The warning lights of the harbor blink like owls. Quietly runs the water through my dusky thoughts.

The Pandavas are the five sons of Pandu, by his two wives Kunti and Madri. The story of their battle against their cousins the Kauravas is told in the great Indian epic of Mahabharata. The five sons are named Yudhishtira, Bhima, Arjuna, Nakula and Sahadeva. Each of them is blessed with special powers due to their respective origins. I bow before thee, my master of metal on four wheels.

The mother of all things democratic or the current source for conflicts worldwide?

The joy of a snapshot, permanent memories in an instant.

The color of candlelight reflected in black eyes. The dreams in black and white. The smoky smell of good wine. The taste of delicate spices. A panoply of sensual delights making it an evening to remember.

We walk through these
Musical moods, holding the notes
Of everyman’s hopes
Slivers of sunshine
Divide our shadows
Into queuing quavers
Her leavened voice to our side
Slithers and slides
Through the heavy air
Naked is our core
A collection of sparks
Lit by glowing music motes
Inevitably, our heart strings
Are rooted in this land of
Enlightened enthusiasm
